Why go?

It’s a free, hands-on way to give back that works for children as well as adults.

The route mixes a beach clean with Sentosa’s newer green features, micro-forests, cooling nodes and green-roof walkways, so you see more than sand.

It ends with marine conservation stories, including Bioboss tiles, seagrass and turtle nesting, which make the clean-up feel connected to real wildlife.

What to do

01 · Walk the southern trail

Sessions start at Central Beach Bazaar. Sentosa says the route passes micro-forests, cooling nodes and green-roof walkways along the island’s southern coast. Our tip: wear proper walking shoes rather than flip-flops, since you’ll be on paths as well as sand.

02 · Clean towards the Southernmost Point

The clean-up stretch heads along the beach towards the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, the suspension bridge and islet off Palawan Beach. Bring a hat, sunscreen and a refillable water bottle; the Saturday morning session is the cooler of the two.

03 · Learn about Sentosa’s marine life

The session ends with Sentosa’s marine conservation work: Bioboss tiles, seagrass and turtle nesting on the island’s beaches. It’s a good chance for children to ask questions about what lives just off the shore.
