Dates: 24 Oct 2026–31 Jan 2027 · daily 8am to 10pm
HIIT The Beach turns part of Palawan Beach into a free outdoor workout playground until 31 January 2027. Eight stations range from monkey bars to battle ropes and sled pushes, and you do as much or as little as you like. Sentosa runs it with The Magnum Ice Cream Company, so the cool-down is ice cream.

Why go?
It’s free and open from 8am to 10pm every day, so you can go early before the heat or after dinner when the beach is cooler.
The eight zones work like a hybrid-fitness circuit (sled push and pull, battle ropes, box jumps) but nobody times you, so mixed-fitness groups can do it together.
Palawan Beach is a family beach anyway, so it’s easy to pair with a swim, the suspension bridge or lunch nearby.
What to do
01 · Move: the fitness circuit
The circuit has eight stations: a monkey-bar climb, hand-over-hand balance bars, three box jumps of different heights (add a burpee if you want more), battle ropes, an overhead press with weights that get heavier as you go, an over-and-under obstacle run, and a weighted sled you pull and then push. Sentosa says it’s inspired by HIIT and HYROX-style training but isn’t a competition. Note the weight limits: 150kg on the bars and 120kg on the box jumps, where shoes are required.
02 · Play: the brand challenges
Each station is themed on one of the company’s ice-cream brands (Magnum, Ben & Jerry’s, Wall’s, Cornetto and Calippo), with photo spots along the way. Our tip for families: let younger kids pick two or three stations they like rather than trying the whole circuit, and do the sled stations together.
03 · Chill: the Cooldown Isle
After the circuit you can sit down at the Cooldown Isle, where there’s ice cream from the company’s brands, oversized ice-cream installations and limited-edition co-branded merchandise. Bring water too; the beach gets very hot in the middle of the day.

Before you go
- Go before 10am or after 5pm; the equipment sits in the sun and the midday heat is tough (our suggestion).
- If there’s lightning, heavy rain or strong wind, Sentosa asks everyone to leave the area and find shelter. For safety issues call 1800-RANGERS.
- Make a beach day of it with our Sentosa beaches and Palawan bridge guide, or more workouts in Singapore for runners.
