Why go?

You can try para-sports such as wheelchair fencing and blind football yourself, guided by the people who play them.

The festival has real access support: wheelchair access, calm rooms, volunteer guides and shuttle buses, and programmes are labelled sensory-, wheelchair-, kid- and pet-friendly.

The Inclusion Passport trail around Redhill gives kids a goal: collect four stamps and swap them for a gift at Enabling Village.

What to do

01 · The Arena: inclusive sport at Delta Sport Centre

Delta Sport Centre hosts sports and movement sessions designed for all abilities. On the programme list are a wheelchair para-fencing taster, bocce taught by Special Olympics athletes (29 Nov, 1pm to 5pm) and an ActiveSG gym orientation for persons with disabilities. Some tasters are paid and have short time slots, so book ahead on the festival site.

02 · The Gathering: Enabling Village

Enabling Village, Singapore’s first inclusive community space, is the heart of the festival. Look for the i’mable Collective Market, an assistive-technology challenge and a 3D-printing showcase of co-created assistive devices (both 10am to 6pm on both days), a tactile brick-making workshop, and Hu木an, a sensory forest adventure with music. Chill and Paint in Monochrome is a paid session.

03 · The Discovery: Redhill neighbourhood

Start at Redhill MRT, where Ask Auntie Productions performs Chit Chat Sing Song, a musical improv with an inclusive cast (2pm and 4pm on both days). Pick up an Inclusion Passport at Enabling Village, walk the self-guided trail around Redhill and collect all four stamps for a gift, while stocks last.
