Why go?

It’s free, indoors and pet-welcome, which is rare in the CBD, and it runs into the evening, so it fits after work on the Monday.

The freebies are worth knowing about: a S$108 swag bag for the first 20 guests each day, a free pup cup, and a free SevenDaze coffee for every S$20 you spend at one vendor.

The free matcha workshop is one of the few hands-on classes in town where your dog can sit with you.

What to do

01 · The fair: local pet brands on Level 3

The fair takes over Level 3 of BYD by 1826’s Boat Quay site, with local pet brands selling food, treats and accessories, and things for owners too. Entry is free. RSVP on the official page and you can collect a mystery door gift worth up to S$20, while daily stocks last. The first 20 guests each day get a swag bag of partner goodies worth S$108.

02 · The pet-friendly matcha workshop

SevenDaze runs a free 30-minute matcha session, where you whisk, sip and learn, at 3pm and 4pm each day from 7 to 9 November. Pets can come along. Places are limited and you book them separately from the fair RSVP, so reserve a slot first if this is why you’re going.

03 · Free coffee and pup cups

Spend at least S$20 on one receipt at a vendor booth and you get a free SevenDaze coffee, with another for each extra S$20 on the same receipt. For a free pup cup, take a photo of your pet at the balcony photo spot, post it on Instagram tagging @bydby1826_singapore, and show the barista.

Accessibility

The fair is on Level 3. People can use the lift, but pets must use the stairs, so it’s hard for large or older dogs

Before you go

  • To get a swag bag, arrive at noon. Only the first 20 guests each day get one (our suggestion).
  • Small dogs in a carrier or sling handle the stairs most easily. Big dogs may find three flights hard work.
  • More for pets: our Singapore for pet lovers roundup, and BYD by 1826 at IMM, the brand’s pet-friendly cafe in Jurong East.
