Why go?
This is the official concert, not a tribute, and the arrangements are supervised by the series’ own composers.
It’s a full symphonic setting: more than 100 musicians and choir on stage, rather than a small ensemble with backing tracks.
Esplanade Concert Hall is one of the best-sounding rooms in Singapore for a score this big.
What to do
01 · What you’ll hear and see
Faeries of the East presents the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra in new arrangements of the series’ themes, built around its tension and melancholy as much as the battle cues. The organiser’s own tagline is ‘Shinzō wo Sasageyo!’, the anime’s best-known opening, so expect the big themes. HD footage from the TV series runs in sync on a giant screen above the orchestra.
02 · Picking a night and a seat
There are three shows, all at 7.30pm: Thursday 26, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November. Esplanade lists Cat 3 at S$99, Cat 2 at S$129 and Cat 1 at S$189, with Esplanade Box seats also at S$189. For a concert with a screen, the higher stalls and circle seats facing the stage usually give the best view of both orchestra and video. The box seats are better for the sound than for the screen (our view).
03 · Timing and the age rule
The concert runs about 2 hours 20 minutes with one 20-minute interval, so the 7.30pm show ends at about 9.50pm. Admission is for ages 16 and above, and the rating is NC16. Younger fans in the family won’t be let in, so check before you buy a family set.

Before you go
- Go on the Thursday if you can. Weekday shows of anime concerts tend to sell more slowly than Saturday nights (our suggestion).
- Eat before 6.30pm at the Esplanade Mall or nearby Marina Square. The interval is only 20 minutes.
- Coming in 2027: Attack on Titan: The Musical at Sands Theatre. More anime and game music nights: our guides to Metaphor: ReFantazio Orchestra Concert, World of Warcraft: 20 Years of Music and Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2026, which runs the same weekend.
