Hong Lim Market & Food Centre is a two-storey hawker centre on Upper Cross Street, between Chinatown and Clarke Quay. It’s a lunch place: three of its stalls are listed in the MICHELIN Guide, and most of them close by mid-afternoon. Go for char siew wonton noodles, minced pork noodles and curry chicken.
