What to do
01 · Bahrakath Mutton Soup (#01-10)
Serving its secret mutton soup recipe since 1973: a dense, herbal broth. Try the leg, and order bread to mop it up. Tue to Sun 11am to midnight; closed Mon.
02 · Selamat Datang Warong Pak Sapari (#01-09)
Mee soto and mee rebus are the must-tries, per the MICHELIN Guide. Mon to Thu 8am to 7.30pm, Sat and Sun 8am to 2pm; closed Fri.
03 · Nasi lemak and history
Roots says one stall served 1,000 plates of nasi lemak a day in 2016. The centre was upgraded in 2001–02, and five old angsana trees were kept.
